What to Look for at the Market: May 22, 2010

"Know your neighbors, know your food" at this week's Mainstreet Farmers Market. Peaches will arrive this weekend at the market for the first time this season!
FEATURED PRODUCTS INCLUDE:
Peaches, Strawberries, Green Beans, Peas, Cucumbers, Squashes, Onions, Beets, Carrots, Kale, Broccoli Heirloom Plants, Vegetable Transplants, Herbs and Organic Fertilizers Lots of Baked Goods, Honey, Cheese and Dairy Products.

For your upcoming cookout try the oranic, grass-fed Hunter Cattle beef cuts and poultry from Hope Grows, offered at the Market this Saturday.

The market has a wide variety of local crafts to browse through to help you find that perfect gift to thank  your teachers and congratulate those graduates.

Entertainment for this weekend's Market will be provided by local indie/folk musician Mary Hannah starting at 10 a.m.

Chef Elaine Minick Stone will show everyone at the market how they can use the fresh produce and productes at the market to prepare delicious pasta dishes with fresh vegetables at the Garden Table Cafe.
