A New Season of the Mainstreet Farmers Market

The Mainstreet Farmers Market in downtown Statesboro is in the midst of their third year of the event. The first market of the season opened on April 3, 2010, where over 1,200 people showed up to enjoy the fresh produce, unique crafts and more that is offered. The market opening was themed as "Georgia Southern Day," and special guests like university president, Dr. Keel attended the market. Since the market opening the market has continued to have success and has hosted "Sally Zetterower Elementary Day," "Southeast Bulloch High School day," and other great events to invite in the community. The Mainstreet Farmers Market has many great weeks ahead of them and is looking forward to a very successful market season.
